Self-Healing -- FREE Recording!

I figured out how to get my audio of Intentional Self-Healing uploaded. It's on the right in the white audio thingy. This one is REALLY good. It's the self-healing technique I use for body pains and injuries. It works beautifully and you can listen to this recording anytime you need to help your body heal naturally. This also can be used with animals and children, too.

I'll be looking forward to your comments on this one!

Back pain benefits & beliefs

Beliefs are extremely powerful. And can shape and form all aspects of your life.

I wrenched my back recently. I do self-healing, but this back pain just didn't want to budge. After a few days of barely walking, it got somewhat better. But there still was that general aching and a specific spot that hurt when I moved a certain way. A day or so of that, and I got tired of dealing with it. I decided it was time the problem went away. Since it had healed somewhat, I knew I could heal the rest and expected it to do so. After a bit of mentally fumbling, I am now on the road to recovery.

Explanation:

I've had this back pain happen before I learned self-healing, and the result was chiropractors, and an ultimate of changing of careers due to this pain. So this time I had that worry (edging towards a belief) that something was so wrong I couldn't heal it. (I'm getting older now, and ppl say that's what happens.) I got the phone number for a chiropractor just in case, and kept trying to heal it myself. But I wasn't able to (belief proven).

Since I have had various back pains that I have healed, I knew that in time it would correct itself. And for the most part, it did (belief proven).

Then there was the lingering occasional irritation of pain while getting up from sitting. There was this defining moment where I knew I could keep feeling the pain or make it go away. There was subconscious thoughts going on making this decision: do I stay a victim to the pain and continue with all the attention I was getting from my back pain, or just get rid of it and get back to my life as I know it? Consciously, I decided to get rid of it, and just expected it to be gone. And for the most part, it has left. (See update at end)

Now, the core belief --the belief that supersedes all of this--is an internal struggle between the common belief that getting older creates more pains, body deterioration, and physical ailments vs. this is JUST a belief and not a truth. Peer pressure is very powerful, and I hate to admit that the former belief is a little bit more prevalent. I struggle with that now.

I wish the world would believe in self-healing, but they don't seem to. Sometimes it feels like I'm out here alone, rejected when I tell someone I do self-healing and/or suggest that they, too, can heal themselves. They don't want to hear about it, they are stuck in their belief, trying to prove it. *Sigh*

UPDATE: My back ache kicked back in a bit and I went in mentally to see what was going on with it.  I realized that I was at the critical line of beliefs…I could give in to common thought and just be the victim of my back, and all that comes with it (peer acceptance, peer attention, the feeling that I am 'normal' by the standards of common beliefs, coupled with the fact that life as I know it would be over, that I would no longer be self-sufficient, that I wouldn't be able to care for my animals, etc.) OR, I could heal it.  I decided I would heal it. I had to then express and release the fear of not being able to heal it, the fear that it was too powerful for me to handle. And then I laughed at that thought!  Nothing is too powerful for my mind.  The decision was made.  My back is much better today.

Is it a truth, or just a belief?

What is a belief?  What is a truth? What is the difference between a belief and a truth?  A truth is something that is true 100% of the time, for 100% of the people.  The earth is round, the clouds are above, humans need water to live, 2 plus 2 equals 4. These are truths.  Most of those things we think are truths are not truths, but beliefs. Beliefs are limited thoughts that are changeable.  They are not true for everyone, all the time. Each religion has its set of beliefs, conflicting with other sets of religious beliefs. The belief that aging is a bad thing, as we believe in the US, may not be a belief in countries where an aged person is more respected and valued, due to their life experiences and knowledge.

Beliefs are limited thoughts that beg to be proven right.  We have hundreds of beliefs that we act out daily and prove to ourselves-and sometimes to others-that these beliefs, that we, are right.  We don't want to be wrong.  We want to be right.  When pressed, one may go to great lengths, even to the DETRIMENT of self, to prove that a belief is a truth.

Many beliefs are adopted from an early age.  And still today we defend those beliefs.  Sometimes beliefs are not accurate and need to be changed.  As we learn more in life, our beliefs change and shift.  But on occasion, we have beliefs that stick to us and don't change.  When a belief is in the way of us in our adult life, when we are striving for a success, but are not getting that success, it's important to take a look and see if there is an old, outdated belief that needs to be changed.

Anyway, I could go on, but this post is just to decipher a belief from a truth for further, easier communication.

Anxiety from witnessing murder

Had a hypno session today. I didn't know anything about the "anxiety" problem Sara had. When she got there, she proceeded to tell me when she was 21 she witnessed a gunning down murder. Since then she had intense fears when in groups and strange situations. She had been on medication for depression also.

Sara dropped into hypnosis easily and quickly. Love it when that happens. We worked through the fear in magnificent "root cause" fashion. Prior to coming out of the session, Sara was in tears. I had to ask her if the tears were sadness, realizing that we may need to go back and resolve this sadness. She preceded to tell me that she was exuding tears of happiness.
t was a "wow" session, in which Sara changed immediately, thrilled with the results, even before she got out of my "big 'ole hypno chair". Time and feedback will confirm this.
It's important to have these sessions. To be able to truly change a person's life in an hour is what I got into this business for. To just be a part of someone's growth, releasing old fears or beliefs, in order for them to move forward in life.
I rest happy.

Weight Loss help for FREE

I'm experimenting with something and I need your help. As a hypnotherapist in Kennewick, I specialize in helping people lose weight. One of the most powerful "wow" sessions that I do is craving control. Taking one thing you crave that threatens your success with your weight loss efforts. And totally eliminate the desire for that one thing. It's a really cool and effective experience. I am offering a FREE mp3 download for you to try out, on this exact subject. I want to know if your experience of listening and following along on a recording is as powerful as a private session. I will post it here as soon as I figure out how! BUT, you must promise to write back and tell me how your experience was. It should work immediately after you first listen to this recording. FREE--just because you came to this blog!
Now, go to the icon on the right and click on it. Have fun!

Hypnosis, a household word?

In the midst of a whole bunch of hypnotists brainstorming online (at www.hypnothoughts.com there are over 7,000 members, mostly practicing hypnotists) on how to get the word out to everyone of the benefits of hypnosis and make it a widely used, commonly accepted practice, I've been contemplating what I can do on my end, in my town, to accomplish this...still thinking.

Once a person has had a success with hypnosis, they are "hooked" on the magical benefits. As I see it, there are 2 things in play. Education to the people, and highest quality hypnotists.  Cd's and recordings are poor for most people. You see, the thing about hypnosis is that it works well if the person is very deeply relaxed. Most times you don't get that by listening to recordings, as you don't have someone making sure you to that specific state. And, with a 6 day hypnosis class for $2,000, anyone can get certified as a hypnotherapist. But that doesn't mean they know what they are doing as a hypnotist (although the instructor will assure you that you know everything after 6 days). It takes a BUNCH of experiences, a flurry of real life clients, and a TON of  mistakes, to be a decent hypnotist.

So, the brainstorming goes on how to get hypnosis as a viable, commonly accepted therapy practice.

Glycemic Index-Sugar levels in food

Quite interesting to learn of the Glycemic Index (GI). Intended for those who have medical conditions and need to watch their blood sugar levels, apparently they have figured out what sugar level is in a bunch of foods. I know you are screaming at me to tell me that this has been around since the beginning of time, but I just found this out! Hey, I hadn't needed health and wellness information. When you haven't been plagued with ailments, and have taken care of a lot of inner issues through self-healing, you don't need to obtain this information. So why am I learning this stuff now? Is it because I'm old and fat? LOL. Well, some may say so. I'm 55, and to me I am young and healthy, carrying an extra 20 lbs. I'm on the verge of learning a real good self-hypnosis technique, so I'll be able to take care of more of these health issues soon.

Here is an online chart for the glycemic index.

Cleansing Self from Other People's Stuff

When you have taken on too much of other people’s stuff (thoughts/feelings), a good way to cleanse yourself is below.  First, you need to learn when you have taken on other people’s stuff and when you are just dealing with your own stuff.  That alone will keep a bunch of other people’s stuff out of you.  On those other times, try this cleansing once it is “in” you.  (Also check out psychic shielding, not discussed here.)
Visualize a screen, like in the illustration, but put handles on the 2 long ends.  Make the screen a bit bigger than the size of your profile.  Take the screen by the handles and put it down below your feet.  Begin “sifting” or moving the screen back and forth, as if sifting fine particles, with the coarser particles being collected on the screen.  Begin sifting the screen up from your feet, collecting the black, coarser particles that are within you (representative of other people’s stuff).  Take the screen and continue sifting and collecting all the black spots within you.  When you get through and over your head, you can send the black particles up to the sky to be transformed.
Repeat as many times as needed to eliminate those black spots.  You can do this totally in your head, or it seems to work best for me to actually put movement to my arms to move the imaginary screen up my body and then up through my head, sending the black stuff to “upstairs”.  You also can do this from the top down and send the black stuff down into the earth.  Wait for a minute or two, and you will forget all about those foreign thoughts/feelings and get back to your true self.
