Some prescription medication, makes you feel better by raising your seritonin and dopamine levels. These are you happy chemicals. Well there is a way to raise these chemical levels in a natural way and it's SO easy to do. Don't do it while driving, but if you are sitting at your office desk, or feeling stress in most any situation, try this.
Put a big ole smile on your face. A smile that reaches from ear to ear. Now, hold that smile and look up to the ceiling or sky. Hold it. Now, put your arms way out to both sides, like an airplane. Hold that pose (arms out, smile, head up) for a few seconds. This will activate you natural seritonin, dopamine, and adrenaline chemicals and take you to that happy place. Another way to do this is to take a pen and put it crossways in your mouth and bite down on it. Not hard, just enough to hold it in place. Then smile from ear to ear, the biggest smile you can muster with that pen in your mouth. Hold that for a few seconds. You will feel the shift away from stress and to that happy place. Try it.

Gawd, MORE "you should eat this" options
No matter what you hear when it comes to what is best for a body, it's not 'truth'. I don't think anyone knows what the 'truth' is, on how a person should eat. We all have similar bodies, there MUST be a "right" way to eat. But, everyone thinks theirs is the right way. Drives me crazy.
don't eat sugar
eat low carbs
eat low fat
don't eat meat
eat meat
don't eat dairy
eat dairy
Sheesh. No matter what one person/authority says, another says just the opposite. Here is another belief, from yet another doctor/authority. His belief is that people should eat a starch diet. Who knows, really. But here it is to put in with your mix of options--so you can get REALLY confused, like me!

Sleeeeeppppppp
No matter what you do, get enough sleep. Sleep is the way the body replenishes itself. Good sleep feels good for a reason. 8 hours a night of good sleep will help your immune system fight off all sorts of ailments. If you have health issues, the first thing to do is make sure you sleep sound and long. Sometimes, when people come in for ailments, problems, even disease, as a hypnotherapist my first job is to help people sleep well. When they are getting their sleep, we can work on other work. To help you sleep better, here are a few hints:
