Pet hypnotherapy may seem a bit unusual to some. Many have questions, so here are some FAQs about Pet Hypnotherapy.
Is this real?
Yes it’s real.
Does Cindy hypnotize pets?
No, Cindy doesn’t actually hypnotize the pet in the way she hypnotizes people in her people hypnotherapy practice. She does use a hypnotherapy technique on animals that is commonly used on people.
What kind of animals does Cindy work with?
Any animal-household pet, livestock, exotic, aviary, reptile, etc. that is close to one or more humans. If a person is drawn to contact Cindy about an animal issue, that animal most likely is in close enough contact with humans to do some very good work.
How does she get into the animal’s mind?
With the use of empathy and telepathy. She steps into the animal’s mind and body and then does a form of hypnosis on herself—as the pet.
Does Cindy have to be physically near the pet?
No, most of the animal work is done through distance--email or a chat is best.
What is this about a book being written?
Cindy is writing a book: Pet Hypnotherapy-Case Studies and may use you and your pet’s issues for a case study in this book. All human names will be changed, but a picture of the pet may be published. Your approval will be documented. All writings and correspondence is the property of Cindy Attar, and these writings may or may not be published.
What is the cost?
At this time Cindy is offering the service strictly on a donation basis. She lets people donate what they can and what they feel the service is worth, based on their economic and cultural conditions Cindy does believe that if the client pays for services they take it more seriously and better results happen for both the pet and person.
How many sessions does an issue take?
When Cindy take on a client (see Client Qualifications), she work specifically with them through completion. It really depends on the time difference and how long it takes for email replies to answer that question. Sometimes it takes a day or two, and sometimes it takes a week to do the work that is necessary and to set the owner up to continue the process. A commitment from the client to do as asked and stick with the process is necessary.
What is the procedure?
After the initial qualifications are passed, the owner and Cindy have a conversation about the pet. This generally is done through email or chat and rarely by voice. One reason is to create a paper trail of what’s been said and by whom for future reference and/or submission in the book.
Can I have a session without the information being in a book?
Partially, by pre-arranged request. Some unidentifiable information in readings may still be published.
How does a person/pet qualify to being a client?
First, a series of questions and answers to determine the suitability of the issue and the state of mind of the person/owner.
Client Qualifications
· Serious about needing help with a specific animal issue—those that have tried everything to resolve the issue but have not yet reach success are the most common clients.
· Open mindedness to accept information client may not want to hear.
· Belief system to support psychic-type work.
· Open minded enough to understand that they may be part of the problem. And the solution may need to be that the human changes habits or behaviors.
· Cindy will lead the sessions and certain things will be required of the client. It is important that the client not quit mid-stream, and will commit to fully participating in the work.
· Agree to immediate (within maximum 24 hours for those clients with a large time difference) of each email response. The quicker the response, the quicker the results.
· If owner participation in doing additional healing is required after the pet hypnotherapy work is completed, it is expected that the pet owner will follow through with this. Cindy can teach you a good healing technique or you can use your preferred healing method.
Client Disqualifications
· Having a primary intent to disapprove or discredit this work. Cindy is not out to prove anything to anyone. If you don’t believe in this work, that is fine. Another means will be better for you to resolve your pet issues.
· Cindy uses a sixth sense when dealing with people, and may choose not to work with a particular person because something “just doesn’t feel right”.
· People who just want to be entertained or are curious. This work is for serious issues only.
