Hypnosis has helped with so many issues it’s hard to keep track. Hypnosis has even helped reverse the effects of cancer, Crohn’s disease, AIDs and other terminal illnesses. It is said that with every patient who contracted a chronic or terminal illness, there is a desire of self punishment, mutilation, or limitation residing unnoticed in the subconscious mind of that patient. The patient with such a debilitating disease generally has a base-line belief that the world, parents, or other significant persons, would be better off if they weren’t alive. As with all beliefs, the subconscious strives to prove the truth of inner beliefs. This causes the patient to play out this belief by creating their ultimate demise in the form of terminal or chronic illnesses. Programmed for limitation, it gives us the risen Hollywood star who crashes and burns for no sensible reason, or the lotto winner who in five years finds himself broke and in debt, or the obviously gifted athlete who can’t keep his head together long enough to do anything with those gifts. Programmed for mutilation, it produces chronic illness. Here, the doctor medicates an outbreak of some kind, oblivious to the continuing existence of a program calling for the mutilation. This is the mechanism behind recurrence and substitution that medicine refuses to respect. Going into the subconscious and removing the mutilating program allows the body to quite naturally right itself.” If the subconscious mind can create illness, then the subconscious mind can un-create or cure illness. How this reversal is accomplished is through Hypnotic Age Regression. The hypnotist works closely with the client to uncover the root cause of the illness. When the patient’s emotion that surrounds the disease is brought to the surface and expressed, the client, guided by the hypnotist, follows an imaginary thread and travels back in time where that emotion was initially experienced, due to a specific event. This first occurrence—or root cause—event is then dealt with appropriately by throwing adult logic and wisdom of the event into the mind of that child who perceives the event inaccurately (but logically for his or her young age at the time). Then, more work may be needed to include forgiveness of self and others from that root cause event. Once the emotion of the event is neutralized and resolved, the client travels forward to present time hosting this new information. As long as first occurrence is obtained, and there are no other issues needing to be dealt with, the disease will begin to reverse on its own, no longer a need for the subconscious mind to continue with self-mutilation. This is an absolutely fascinating process. This genre of hypnosis was developed in the 1940’s by Mr. Dave Elman, who called it “hypnoanalysis”. Elman was a hypnotist who taught medical doctors and dentists how to do this fantastic work to resolve the issues of their patients. His work went without fame or fanfare by the general public at the time, yet by those who understood the value of this work, Elman was highly respected and his teachings were very in much demand. After Elman’s death in 1967, Elman’s legendary work was brought to the forefront and given world recognition and the respect it deserves. Today Elman is considered one of the great hypnotists in history. Hypnosis with age regression work is the base of what I do to help heal animals in overcoming their physical and emotional challenges.
