Hypnosis for problems

Some Problems are easily Corrected, Resolved, or Greatly Improved Through the Use of Hypnosis.  Some of the most common hypnosis successes are:

Hypnosis for Cancer?

[ UPDATE: The new Ultra Height (tm) hypnosis technique has had tremendous results with cancers going into remission, chronic conditions disappearing and other really tough-to-resolve conditions diminishing or simply going away. ]

The most versatile and powerful healing science known to man is hypnosis. Hypnosis has helped with so many issues it’s hard to keep track. Hypnosis has even helped reverse the effects of cancer, Crohn’s disease, AIDs and other terminal illnesses. It is said that with every patient who contracted a chronic or terminal illness, there is a desire of self punishment, mutilation, or limitation residing unnoticed in the subconscious mind of that patient. The patient with such a debilitating disease generally has a base-line belief that the world, parents, or other significant persons, would be better off if they weren’t alive. As with all beliefs, the subconscious strives to prove the truth of inner beliefs. This causes the patient to play out this belief by creating their ultimate demise in the form of terminal or chronic illnesses.

Steven Parkhill, who specializes in this Age Regression work with cancer patients states on his website
http://www.alfcentral.org/healing.htm

…the subconscious mind is the most powerful goal achieving device known to man. And it will achieve any goal implanted into it with ruthless efficiency. Programmed for abundance, it gives you the person who can lose everything and in so short a period of time be back up on top. Programmed for limitation, it gives us the risen Hollywood star who crashes and burns for no sensible reason, or the lotto winner who in five years finds himself broke and in debt, or the obviously gifted athlete who can’t keep his head together long enough to do anything with those gifts. Programmed for mutilation, it produces chronic illness. Here, the doctor medicates an outbreak of some kind, oblivious to the continuing existence of a program calling for the mutilation. This is the mechanism behind recurrence and substitution that medicine refuses to respect. Going into the subconscious and removing the mutilating program allows the body to quite naturally right itself.”

If the subconscious mind can create illness, then the subconscious mind can un-create or cure illness. How this reversal is accomplished is through Hypnotic Age Regression. The hypnotist works closely with the client to uncover the root cause of the illness. When the patient’s emotion that surrounds the disease is brought to the surface and expressed, the client, guided by the hypnotist, follows an imaginary thread and travels back in time where that emotion was initially experienced, due to a specific event. This first occurrence—or root cause—event is then dealt with appropriately by throwing adult logic and wisdom of the event into the mind of that child who perceives the event inaccurately (but logically for his or her young age at the time).

Then, more work may be needed to include forgiveness of self and others from that root cause event. Once the emotion of the event is neutralized and resolved, the client travels forward to present time hosting this new information. As long as first occurrence is obtained, and there are no other issues needing to be dealt with, the disease will begin to reverse on its own, no longer a need for the subconscious mind to continue with self-mutilation.

This is an absolutely fascinating process. This genre of hypnosis was developed in the 1940’s by Mr. Dave Elman, who called it “hypnoanalysis”. Elman was a hypnotist who taught medical doctors and dentists how to do this fantastic work to resolve the issues of their patients. His work went without fame or fanfare by the general public at the time, yet by those who understood the value of this work, Elman was highly respected and his teachings were very in much demand. After Elman’s death in 1967, Elman’s legendary work was brought to the forefront and given world recognition and the respect it deserves. Today Elman is considered one of the great hypnotists in history.

Hypnosis with age regression work is the base of what I do to help heal animals in overcoming their physical and emotional challenges.

Hypnosis faq

What is hypnosis?  The US Government defines hypnosis as “Bypass of the critical factor of the conscious mind.  The establishment of acceptable selective thinking.”

Can anyone be hypnotized?  Yes, if they so desire.  Anyone can achieve this altered state of consciousness as long as you desire to.  The hypnotist cannot force you to go into hypnosis against your will.

Will I know what is happening?  Yes.  If anything, you can become more aware of what is happening.  Although your eyes are closed, your other senses can be heightened.

Will I remember what happened?  Yes and no.  You will remember some things, but most of the time not everything. This is the way the memory works normally.  For example, during a speech, you may start off listening to the speaker, but you won't remember everything that has been said. Some scientists say we only retain about 30 percent of what we hear unless we take written notes to aid our memory.

Will I lose control?  No.  You remain in control at all times.  It becomes very evident when in hypnosis, that if you choose to get up and walk out of the session, then you certainly have all the means and control to do just that.

Will I be forced to accept suggestions?  No.  Your Subconscious is very protective of you and will not allow you to accept any suggestions that go against your morals or beliefs.  A professional hypnotist is not going to make suggestions you are unlikely to accept.

Mythbusters, the TV show that proves or dispels beliefs through in-depth testing and experiments, has taken on a few experiments about hypnosis.

Question: Can you plant a suggestion to make someone do something against their will?

Results: No, The subject has to want to accept the suggestion given.

Question: Is memory recall better while hypnotised?

Results: Yes! Many more details were available to the subject under hypnosis.

What happens if the hypnotist has a heart attack?  Should this unlikely event occur, you will open your eyes and act as you would if this had happened at any other time.

Is this dangerous?  No.  You are perfectly safe, as achieving altered states of consciousness and awareness is a naturally occurring process anyway.

What if I fall asleep during the hypnosis session?  It has been discovered by several research groups that the hearing acts like a surveillance camera. Your eyes close, but you ears cannot close.  They remain open always, taking in information constantly. When a mother is "asleep" and hears her baby cry, she will "awaken" immediately.  So even if you seem to fall "asleep" during the session, your brain is still recording all of the information in your subconscious mind.

What is being in an altered state of consciousness and awareness like?  It is quite an ordinary experience.  You have already experienced what it is like in your everyday activities.  Daydreaming is an altered state of consciousness.  When you are reading a book on a train and are oblivious to other noises and passengers, you are in hypnosis.  We experience altered states of consciousness and awareness throughout the day, whether we are aware of it or not.

How many sessions will I need?  This all depends on the problem or change that you want to make.  Clients who wish to stop smoking undergo one to three sessions, with each one lasting 45-60 minutes. For anything else, clients could have as many as 1 - 10 sessions.  The hypnotist can see two different people for the same situation. One person might require one session and the other might need five.  The reason for this is that we are all unique and react differently.

So how can being in hypnosis help resolve a problem?  When you are in an altered state of consciousness (hypnosis), you are more relaxed both physically and mentally.  Your mind operates more efficiently and effectively in this state.  An example of this is when you try to remember someone’s name.  It is on the tip of your tongue but you just can't get to it.  After you stop trying, the name comes to you easily and automatically.

Can hypnosis be used to reduce pain and/or suffering from illness?  Yes, hypnosis can be very effective in alleviating unwarranted pain in the body and discomfort from many ailments.

How long does a session last?  Usually it can be from 45 minutes to two-hours.  Sessions will vary from person to person.

How often will I need to see the hypnotist?  This depends on the type of problem and on the progress made.  Occasionally resolving issues can be a one session miracle.  However, most are 2-4 sessions.  If a hypnotist tells you it will take over 4 sessions, be wary of that hypnotist and check his references before you schedule your sessions.
